I have really thick curly hair. I want it to be shiney and smooth. Also, I really like how it looks straight but it takes a lot of time to straighten it. Ive tried herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo conditioner and moose but nothing seems to help straighten it. I was thinking of trying Big Sexy Hair Moose. Does it work ?!?! Any advice? Thanks Alot! - Renee

change shampoo and conditioner. for a duo that is of quality and inexpensive, i suggest Nexxus products. i know they are available at CVS, well, that's where i buy mine. get a extra moisturizer shampoo and conditioner, and also purchase the most extreme moisturizer that you should put in after your first conditioner. leave the second one in until your are done showering, then rinse mostly the scalp than the hair. before you blow dry, use a styling CREAM, but be careful not to use to much or not to rub it into the scalp for it will produce a greasy look. i, personally, suggest a CERAMIC straightener. try one from a hair product store- their ceramics work wonders. use a cream or pomade on your ends before you straighten.

yes big sexy products work but just becareful not to put to much or it will make your hair feel sticky and make it look greasy. GOOD LUCK!!

to be honest, you have thick curly hair, blame your parents, only hard work and time is going to give you the best result, invest in a very good quality hair straightener for example a GHD with wide plates and a good quality hair serum.
