How do I create volume in hair so that I have really big hair?

My hair is very long, curly/wavy and kinda thick. I tried teasing it and using the bigsexyhair products but I still can't get big sexy hair. My hair isn't layered so maybe that's my problem, but in my hair layers = frizz. Maybe I'm not using the right teasing technique? Help!

I have the same problem........I had my hair layered and it helped a little.

I know this is going to sound "stupid" but I personally use just about 1/2 tsp. olive oil, make sure you distribute oil evenly throughout hair . My hair is shiny smooth and is NEVER oily. Good Luck from one big frizz to another!!!

By the way, scrunching hair upside down will give big volume after you put oil in, add a little gel to keep "big" hold.

you wont get extremely big hair without layering. the hair is too heavy and cannot defy gravity. try hot rollers, when i do this my hair is large and in charge:)

i like to spray volumizing hair spray in my hair when i get out of the shower, then blow dry my hair until is about 60% dry, then take Jumbo Velcro Rollers and put them in my hair by 2 inch sections, after the velcro rollers are in your hair blow dry them until your hair is completely dry, gently unroll them and style!

yease your hair aroud the crown %26amp; hair spray it while it's still up %26amp; not layed down over the part teased. Don't put a lot of hair spray, though. After that... blow dry it a little so it stays. The other techniques such as blow drying it upside down %26amp; volumizing products only work for about 2 hours on most hair. the teasing lasts pretty much all day!
